A. Ghani Qarooni & Associates was established in 1965 as one of the first legal firms in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since its formation the firm has been providing professional services in numerous fields of law such as prosecuting all kinds of cases before the courts of law and rendering legal consultations.

In 1977 the Kingdom witnessed distinguished developments in the banking and financial sector and consequently the variety of our clients. Hence our office associated with Messrs ILIFFE & EDWARDS of 5 John Street, London, UK, where a law firm was established under the name Qarooni & ILIFFE & EDWARDS to provide expert legal services to international banks, companies and offshore banking units. The association sustained until 1983.

Thereafter, Messrs CAMERON MARKBY of Moor House, London, UK, joined our law firm. Accordingly, the law office was named Law Office of A. G. Qarooni and Associates achieving another milestone. That union widened our scope of work and eventually increased the legal services to local clients and offshore based companies & banks. Since then the firm was known for its diversified services in the areas of banking, conducting various contracts, registration of commercial companies and agencies, arbitration together with prosecuting of court cases and providing local and international legal consultations.

1988 is labeled to be a landmark as our law firm became independent and what then names A.Ghani Qarooni & Associates. Today our office consists of qualified Bahraini consultants and lawyers that put their client’s interest at the top of their priorities providing them with their experience, knowledge and efforts.

In 2002 the Telecommunications Law was issued, hence liberalizing the telecommunication’s sector in 2004 placing another landmark in the Kingdom which resulted in the extension of the scope of our work. In 2004 our firm was appointed as the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority's legal advisors and representatives for one year. Working with the TRA on the legal aspects of the telecommunications market provided our lawyers useful resources and practical experience in this area.

Thereafter we have been providing our services to telecommunications operators and potentials on various issues such as drafting of documents, consolations and regulations.

Today, the firm consists of well equipped lawyers that provide their services in every aspect of the law; each in his/her distinguished area of expertise.
